On Friday January 24, the Al Quoz Beautification Project gets under way with its first public event, when the whole of Street 4B will be closed off from 6pm to midnight to allow some of the country’s most popular street artists to spray their works onto temporary boards. The Street Night Art event will see the road act as an open-air gallery, and the organisers hope it will persuade the authorities to open up parts of the industrial zone to permanent graffiti installations.
