Head to UAE National Race Day: Get ready for motoring thrills at this motor racing event at the Dubai Autodrome featuring the NGK Racing Series, UAE Sportbike Championship and the Formula Gulf 1000. It’s a great introduction to the sport for all the family, too.

Cheer on Dubai Marathon runners: Support some of the best long-distance runners in the world, and some plucky amateurs along for the ride too, as they take on the 26 mile route around the heady sights of Dubai.

Aussies rule at Yalumba: The Down-Under inspired eatery hosts a brunch in honour of Australia Day, with an Aussie barbecue and a selection of hops and grape from the country, as well as bubbly, all available today.

Check out the Street Night Art show: Claiming to be the largest open air gallery in Dubai, this event involves a showcase of art from several venues, some of which will be on sale. There’ll be beat boxing, breakdancing competitions and open mic sessions, too.
