New four-week course to help thinning hair

Knowledge story, The Knowledge

This week: Bootcamp for thicker hair, Salon Ink’s new fab shower caps plus bond with mum at Marquee.

British-based hair-thickening brand Nanogen (04 345 8833) is encouraging its Dubai customers to participate in a four-week bootcamp to plump up their hair. Specially designed for those with thin hair or experiencing hair loss, the Nanogen 4-Week Hair Bootcamp Challenge kit is priced at Dhs380 and includes shampoo, conditioner and growth serum, as well as a DVD, progress chart and step-by-step guide on using the products.

Those who sign up also receive a complimentary treatment at Perfect Look Centre in Satwa.

Meanwhile, Aussie-owned hair haunt Salon Ink (04 385 4402) is now stocking Save the Blowdry shower caps, which help to eliminate moisture, allowing your day-old hair to shine and bounce just as it did the day before. The pretty floral number features an internal layer of super absorbent towelling, which stops humidity having its way with your locks. It can be yours for just Dhs165.

Lastly, new vintage-themed hair salon Marquee (04 420 7700) is getting into the Mother’s Day spirit. They have a special mum and daughter afternoon tea and pampering package running next month, for those of you lucky enough to have your mums near. The deal includes a hair treatment, blow-dry, afternoon tea and a photo of your time together. Until next week, Namaste.
