Swim around the Burj Al Arab

800 Dubaians expected to take on challenge at Wild Wadi Swim

Knowledge story, The Knowledge

The annual Wild Wadi Swim takes place on February 21, where some 800 swimmers make their way around the Burj Al Arab to raise funds for Medecins Sans Frontieres. Fancy taking part? There’s still time to enter. Individuals and teams of four can join in and train for first, second and third place finishes in the competitive 1,600-metre swim category. Last year’s event raised Dhs224,000.

Tickets for the swim start at Dhs275 and are avaliable on the day, which kicks off at 8am.
