In one of the more talked about moves at the Dubai Food Festival, a series of distinctive refurbished cargo containers have popped up along the beach fronts of Dubai. Step inside, and there's a slew of affordable and intriguing dining options on offer.
The Beach Canteen can be found at Jumeirah 1 Open Beach, Kite Beach and Sunset Beach until Saturday March 8, and showcases a total of 16 pop-up restaurants showcasing Emirati, Egyptian, French, Italian, Japanese, Mexican and International cuisines.

Jumeirah 1 Open Beach offers a festival like atmosphere with arts and crafts, jugglers and face painting as well as communal dining on picnic tables.
