Popular comedian John Bishop will make his Middle Eastern debut in Dubai later this year.

The Brit funnyman will perform an exclusive one off date at Dubai World Trade Centre on Thursday May 29, where the UAE audience is promised an exclusive preview of his upcoming, 38-date UK arena tour this autumn.

‘I'm delighted to have been asked to perform in Dubai and very much looking forward to my first ever show in the Middle East,’ said John. ‘I've visited the city before and really enjoyed my time there, so I can't wait to get on stage at the World Trade Centre - bring on 29th May!’

Since winning the 'Best Male Breakthrough Act' at the British Comedy Awards in 2010, John Bishop has been well known in comedy circles.

A regular face on UK television, John has graced cameras in shows including the BBC's Have I Got News For You and John Bishop's Britain, and Sky TV's League Of Their Own and John Bishop's Only Joking.

Middle Eastern TV viewers will also recognise him as a regular on OSN's Live at the Apollo.
