This week we check out a new yoga studio, get Justin Timberlake-inspired nail art and try new healing in TECOM.
Jumeirah 1 yogis won’t need to go far for their daily practice when new wellness studio Eco Yoga Sanctuary (www.facebook.com/ecoyogasanctuary) opens inside The Village Mall in the first week of May. A source tells us that the fit-outs are almost complete and the ladies-only yoga studio, which is owned by Dubai-based instructor Elaine Kelly (who also teaches at The Beach in JBR), will offer hot yoga with an infrared heating system. Classes kick off on Monday May 5. Keep your eyes peeled for a review. Meanwhile, Dubai-based Justin Timberlake fans should head down to The Nail Spa (600 544 001) before the Yas Arena gig on May 23 for bespoke nail art honouring the pop legend. Priced at Dhs20 per nail or Dhs150 for a full set, the mostly black and white designs feature tuxedos, music notes and our pick of the bunch: ‘I heart JT’.
Lastly, those seeking a mental boost should head to Miracles (04 363 9307 ) in TECOM, currently the only venue to offer MEF Transformation & Wellbeing sessions. The MEF (Manifest, Enrich and Fulfill) sessions aim to correct energetic, physical, mental and emotional imbalances affecting a person.
Until next week, namaste.
