This week: we check out Beckham’s new pants, find new lingerie and more.

If you’re the kind of gent of who believes less is more when it comes to beachwear etiquette, check out David Beckham’s debut swimwear collection now available at H&M (04 341 5440). The classic, ultra-masculine range includes above-the-knee boardshorts and trunks, add to that an amusing pair of tighty whiteys in simple shades including khaki, navy and chalky white. The collection is available at the Mall of the Emirates branch only.

Meanwhile, smart yet affordable UK lingerie brand Boux Avenue (no number) is set to open its first store in the UAE during the summer this year. Following this, a further three stores will open soon after, bringing the label’s selection of retro-inspired bikinis and frilly underwear sets to Dubai for the first time. The store also offers a free in-store concierge service and complimentary expert bra fittings, as well as free gift-wrapping with purchases. Did you hear that, folks?

Lastly, Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience is back for a second round in October/November this year, with eight established international designers set to showcase their collections. Stay tuned!
