Dubai Police will soon start using Google Glasses to help them fine reckless motorists for traffic violations and identify wanted cars on the city’s roads. Currently under trial by the Dubai Police Smart Services Department, the technology features a small computer mounted onto a pair of glasses, which allows the wearer to take photos, record video, access internet and receive directions. As Google Glasses headsets are currently not available anywhere outside the US, the idea is that the Dubai traffic police will begin using the technology once it becomes available in the emirate.
