This week: Monroe & Me pops up in Al Quoz and the Ramadan Night Market returns.

Dubai-based online boutique Monroe & Me (04 341 5339) is once again bringing their cyber threads to the streets with a pop-up shop in Capital D Studio in Al Quoz this weekend. The Summertime shop will feature summer essentials for women and give you the opportunity to thumb through affordable fashion in person, with nothing over Dhs499. It all kicks off Friday June 20 from 4pm-7pm and Saturday June 21 2pm-7pm.

Meanwhile, the annual Ramadan Night Market (04 388 5191) is returning this year to cater to all your late-night shopping needs. Whether you’re looking for souvenirs, electronics, midnight snacks or want to get your Eid gifts sorted, you’ll find great bargains with an assortment of sellers from all over the region. The market is open from July 17 to 27 8pm-2am at Za’abeel Hall in Dubai World Trade Centre.

Lastly, luxe French brand Louis Vuitton (04 330 8060) has given six designer heavyweights, including Christian Louboutin and Karl Lagerfeld some homework to do. The Iconoclasts assignment requires the designers to create a bag or piece of luggage using LV’s iconic monogram. Could this be a ploy to gather ideas from the biggest in the business? Stay tuned.
