Which literary titles have entertained, thrilled and inspired the UAE’s readers? Dubai’s Emirates Airline Festival of Literature’s new campaign aims to find out, with heats for English and Arabic adult titles and a third category for children’s reads. The first stage of the campaign is now live online (www.surveymonkey.com/s/uae-favourite-books) and everyone is encouraged to nominate their favourite book. In September, a list will be compiled from the nominations, with the chance for avid readers to vote for their top picks within the list. Votes will be taken until March 2015, with the winners announced at the festival.
