This week: interchangeable shoes and new London College of Fashion courses.

Innovative Brazilian shoe brand Galibelle (050 456 8436) has just unveiled the new range of its interchangeable wedges and flats, ideal for the shoe obsessed. Those set on updating their collection of kicks regularly are able to buy a selection of soles and straps in a variety of bright colours and styles, and then change them up according to the occasion. Due to the success of its temporary pop-up in Festival City Mall last year, the label has launched a standalone store in Oasis Centre.

Meanwhile, London College of Fashion’s short courses (050 915 0759) are returning to Dubai in October. This is the biggest edition yet featuring a total of 16 courses from October 8 to 22. Held at Vida Hotel in Downtown Dubai, the series includes old favourites such as Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing, as well as new courses such as Luxury Fashion Brand Management Consultancy. Those attending the latter get an exclusive one-on-one meeting with Dr Pascal Portanier, who has worked for 20 years as a designer and project manager for luxury brands including Lagerfeld, Lancome, L’Oreal and Clarins.
