New issue on sale now!

Stop what you’re doing and buy the new issue of Time Out Dubai

Knowledge story, The Knowledge

Stop what you’re doing! The latest issue of Time Out Dubai is on shelves now, and you’re going to want to keep hold of this one.

It’s no great secret we’re a city that thrives on convenience – but before you pull into the drive-thru for that next burger, pop into the shop next door. Because now, lucky people of Dubai, you don’t even need to use your legs to get around Dubai Marina. On Tuesday November 11, the much-anticipated Dubai Tram finally goes live – and to help you make the most of the emirate’s snazziest new mode of transport, in this week’s magazine we’ve not only compiled a super-handy guide to where to stop along the route, but also a whopping three-page pull-out map to help you properly get your head around this brave new rail-lined world.

If just the thought of all that exploration makes you feel tired, you’ll be pleased to note we’ve also delved into the less strenuous realms of afternoon tea – because what’s not to love about unlimited sandwiches? And if you’ve got visitors in town soon, they can hardly complain you’re not looking after them when they’ve got a scone wedged in each cheek.

In between mouthfuls of Earl Grey, we also managed to sit down with superstar director Christopher Nolan to talk about Interstellar, his latest sci-fi epic, which might just be the best thing you see in cinemas this year.

If that’s not enough, then maybe Michelin-starred chef interviews, the lowdown on Space Ibiza in Dubai and the truth about whether your smartphone is ruining your life will persuade you – because we’ve got all that and so much more, for less than the price of an all-day Tram travel pass (which is Dhs20, if you’re wondering).

Until next week, adieu. In the meantime, see you on the Tram!

Don’t forget – there’s still a limit number of Voucher Issue copies available from our Time Out Tickets office in Dubai Media City (800 4669). There’s an expensive festive period looming, so get one while you can!
