The organisers of the city’s biggest annual art fair have revealed 2015’s major participants. More than 90 galleries from 39 countries will take part in the ninth edition of the event, from March 18 to 21, with more than 500 artists on display. The show will once again be divided into three gallery programmes; Contemporary, the largest hall with 71 exhibitions predominantly showing work by new artists from across the world; Modern, featuring solo and two-person shows by masters from Africa, the Middle East and South Asia; and Marker, a curated programme, which this year will focus on Latin America and the region’s relationship with the Arab world. For the first time, Marker will include more multidisciplinary approaches, with project space dedicated to books, performance, film and sound.
