A Ras Al Khaimah coffee shop is attempting to break record with sugar-free desserts

A Ras Al Khaimah coffee shop is today attempting to break a record for the world’s biggest dessert party.
Icons Coffee Couture is asking for 796 sweet-toothed diners to join them for a the record attempt at Mina Al Arab in the Northern emirate.
To break the record, currently held by an American ice cream parlour, a minimum of 795 people have to have at least three desserts in a three hour time frame.
Icons Coffee Couture prides itself on the healthiness of its dessets so all the offerings will be sugar-free with the café’s founder, Elena Weber, promising all will be just as good as sugar-filled offerings.
More than Dhs20,000 has been spent on preparing the 2,500 desserts required to win the record,
