Ace Hood is lined up to perform at White Dubai this Saturday night.
The 26-year-old Florida rapper will bring his set to URBN Saturdays on 21 February at the outdoor rooftop nightclub at the Meydan.
Fans can look forward to Ace – real name Antoine McColister – performing chart-topping hits including ‘Hustle Hard’, ‘Bugatti’ and ‘Top of the World’ when he gets to the UAE.
The hip-hop star is also well known for his renowned and exclusive remixes of tracks including O.T. Genasis’ ‘Coco’ and Drake’s ‘0 to 100’.
Although he released his first album in 2008, Ace reached new heights of recognition in the genre when he signed with Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment in 2012 as part of his We The Best Music Group.
He has since worked with the likes of John Legend, Trey Songz, French Montana and Chris Brown.
Perhaps his most popular single, ‘Bugatti’ featuring Rick Ross and Future, which was produced by Mike WiLL Made It [of Juicy J and Rihanna fame], gave him his second gold plaque in early 2013. It notched up more than 21 million plays on YouTube/VEVO.
"This is a complete vision," he said about his new music. "On my past few albums, I was still figuring out who I am. This was the first time I was able to record and understand who I am. My sound is finally locked in. I know what I have to offer the game. I know the mark I want to leave on this hip-hop community."
White Dubai – open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday - has been delivering the best hip-hop and RnB tunes courtesy of DJs DVN, Crown Prince and Radio One’s very own Dany Neville every Saturday night.
The platinum selling artist’s announcement comes after the venue, which opened last year, continues to present popular names in music. British rapper Tinie Tempah performed at White’s anniversary bash in December and DJ Charlesy – Jessie J and Tinie’s official tour DJ – took over for their Valentine’s Day event on Saturday.
Ladies receive complimentary drinks the entire evening exclusively from the pink menu.
