How to collect One Direction Dubai concert tickets

What to do and where to go if you bought One Direction Dubai gig tickets

Knowledge story, The Knowledge

The One Direction gig is getting closer and closer. Now fans of the boys Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik finally know how to get their hands on the concert tickets.

The band, who found fame on The X Factor UK in 2010, will be performing at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai on 4 April. It’s the largest music show ever staged in the United Arab Emirates and will be the group’s only concert date in the Middle East.

Perhaps unsurprisingly it sold out in four weeks after going on sale last May but fans are only finding out how to collect the much-coveted tickets from 10am on 11 March, now.

Fans who bought tickets online have had to hold on to their email confirmations while those who purchased entry to the fun night out at Virgin Megastore have held on tightly to their receipts.

Organisers Done Events waited this long to arrange collection of the tickets in order to avoid fake copies of them emerging onto the market and to minimize people re-selling the tickets at a higher price.

Thomas Ovesen, Chief Operating Officer at Done Events said about the huge operation they are trying to ensure goes as smoothly as possible: “The planning for the event is going very well, and we are looking forward to putting on amazing show for Dubai and the UAE.

“As anticipation builds, we would urge fans to follow the event advice contained with tickets, and to keep an eye on our website www.doneevents.com and the 1D Dubai official Facebook page for updates.”

Customers are even being given driving route advice so their experience on the big day next month is as safe and enjoyable as possible.
