Win One Direction Dubai concert tickets

Good news for One Direction fans in Dubai who missed a chance to attend the gig

Knowledge story, The Knowledge

If you missed out on tickets to the One Direction concert taking place next month, fear not.

Fans who thought they may not get the chance to see Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles are not in with a chance again, thanks to the UAE’s largest five-star hotel.

Directioners could snap up gold, silver or bronze tickets to the upcoming sell-out performance as the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai has announced.

Guests there have the exclusive chance to attend the concert of the year on April 4 even after the 32,500 tickets that were originally available for purchase sold out within a month of going on sale last May.

JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is offering a rare “second chance draw” at three of its restaurants – Positano, Kitchen6 and La Farine throughout the month. So dine there and be entered into the exclusive draw.

The band, who found fame on The X Factor UK in 2010, will be performing at The Sevens Stadium. It’s the largest music show ever staged in the United Arab Emirates and will be the group’s only concert date in the Middle East for their On The Road Again Tour.

The stadium tour sees them return to Australia and Asia in 2015 for the first time in two years. The boys will be visiting many cities and countries for the very first time, including a leg of the tour in South Africa and the UAE.

One Direction recently won a 2015 BRIT Award for Best British Video, partially due to support from fans in the UAE. The term “#ONEDIRECTIONBRIT” was trending in Dubai, and tweets counted as a vote for the music accolade which they claimed for You & I.

The Middle East welcomed a 1D World pop-up store location for the first time for nine days last month.

It had already happened around the globe in 20 cities including New York, London, Sydney, Madrid and Copenhagen so followers of the music group were thrilled to access to the 36 product lines including 12 T-shirt designs, posters, and life-size cut outs of each band member.
