Dates for next year’s Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival have been announced.
The event will be held from February 24 to 26, again at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, according to Chillout Productions.
News of 2016’s music gathering comes as the organisers - of what’s dubbed the region’s most awarded and longest-running live music event - wrapped up the 2015 bash last month.
Their13th edition set an all-time record in attendance through three consecutive sold-out nights.
It welcomed more than 30,000 music fans swaying and singing to the rhythm and lyrics of Sting, John Legend, James Blunt each respectively supported by musicians Lindsey Stirling, Esperanza Spalding and Christina Perri.
“Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival has grown from strength-to-strength since its inception back in 2003 and this year’s unprecedented success testifies the event’s perennial appeal and its ability to evolve in accordance to the ever-changing needs of the region’s increasingly discerning and sophisticated music fans and concert-going crowd,” Anthony Younes, Co-Founder and CEO of Chillout Productions said.
For the first time this year, Chillout Productions introduced a brand new lifestyle concept designed to spread the spirit and ambience of the Jazz Festival across the city of Dubai with the Urban Sessions, hosted at key restaurants across the emirate and the organisers have much more in store for next year’s event.
