Dubai's Chilli Crab Festival returns

Madinat Jumeirah welcomes back the Chilli Crab Festival in Dubai

The Knowledge

We love a food festival here in Dubai and we’re obsessed with seafood.

So we couldn’t be happier to hear another year of a fabulous event celebrating tasty crab is just around the corner.

Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Resort of Dubai, will return with the popular Chilli Crab Festival from 22 – 25 April at Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

Located in the Souk Amphitheatre, this four-day culinary event celebrates sumptuous delicacies from the Far East including the famous Singaporean chilli crab which is covered in a delicious stir-fried, tomato and chilli sauce. Visitors can also experience a variety of oriental flavours and culinary favourites, including dim sum, wok-fried blue swimmer crab and tempura crispy crab.

The amphitheatre has hosted the Chilli Crab Festival for the last six years and the venue’s al fresco setting, views of winding waterways and the iconic Burj Al Arab add to the festival experience.

Food stalls, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment from resident musician Tim Hassell and a children’s corner with face painting, computer games and a build-your-own burger stand will ensure a fun day out for the whole family.

So if you always order the crab at Aprons and Hammers, Sushi Counter, Shanghai Chic or Nobu, you'll have a ball here.
