French Montana in Dubai 2015

French Montana is returning to Dubai after his appearance last year

Knowledge story, The Knowledge

Looks like French Montana can’t get enough of Dubai. The rapper is coming back to the emirate to see his fans again.

In under two weeks the star will be back in the UAE for a nightclub appearance, after only being here last in November.

French – real name Karim Kharbouch – seems to not only love Dubai but also the venue he played last, as he is returning to VIP Room. His gig was at their Formula 1® Race pop-up in Abu Dhabi last November and this time he will be around for their On Air night Thursday April 23.

The famed brand has the reputation of hosting Dubai’s most coveted parties and its ability to bring internationally acclaimed hip-hop, R&B artists and guest DJs to perform. On Saturday for example they threw a massive bash with American rapper Tyga, a friend of the Kardashian family, as is French.

The 30-year-old can even be seen in their show Keeping Up With The Kardashians while Tyga has so far proved a little shy when it comes to reality TV.

Moroccan-born French is perhaps best known for tracks such as Feelin’ Myself, Ocho Cinco and I Luh Ya Papi.

He has collaborated with Rick Ross, Jeremih and used to be signed to Akon’s record label.

The Arabic-speaking musician is in high demand right now and perhaps Kim Kardashian will even be spotted hanging out with him at VIP Rooms at the W Marriott Marquis Hotel when he arrives. She partied with French – who became close to her sister Khloe Kardashian in 2014 - when he was in the UAE five months ago.

The nightclub also has venues in Marrakesh, St Tropez, Paris, Cannes and Monaco.
