In a new campaign to promote Reebok’s fresh Zpump trainers, ambassadors for the sports brand, Micah Couch and Shayni Couch, take a giant leap for the well-known name and go jump out of a plane in the UAE.
Teaming up with SkyDive Dubai a pair of fitness-enthusiasts can be seen free-falling over the iconic Palm Jumeirah after getting their sneakers on and running to catch up with a small plane.
The shoes are said to be perfect for those who are regularly active as they’re softer and lighter than your average and follow the shape of your foot. With no rigid parts, the slip-ons are 100 per cent a custom fit.
“The Zpump shoe is a defining and unique product, therefore we had to think of ways in which to launch and market it that would reflect and showcase its exclusive, cutting-edge technology,” Mark Greiner, General Manager of Reebok Middle East, said. “Building upon the existing relationship between Reebok Middle East and XDUBAI, a pertinent and prominent action sports expert, seemed an appropriate way forward.
“It gave us the opportunity to develop a campaign that would really push the boundaries in terms of not just logistics and planning but also would be ground-breaking in its daring and exhilarating representation of the Zpump franchise. Furthermore we have found from past experience that campaigns with a strong local angle have had extremely positive results from consumers who welcome the emotional and physical connection with their community and the lives they lead there.”
