Disney On Ice has enjoyed its most successful year yet in the UAE.

Over the last week more than 40,000 fans showed up at the Dubai World Trade Centre to see the likes of characters Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora and Snow White from their favourite stories.

It was the first time Disney’s Academy Award-winning movie Frozen arrived in Dubai on ice, an occasion many people, young and old were looking forward to on Wednesday evening when it officially opened.

A private show took place the night before meaning there was a total sum of 11 performances this time around. Therefore Princesses and Heroes was the most popular Disney On Ice show in the United Arab Emirates so far.

Last year Mickey Mouse and other character appeared in Rockin Ever After.

An extra ‘After School Special’ matinee performance was added for Sunday, June 14, at 3.30pm after getting an overwhelming response to 2015’s tour.
