His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has shared an inspiring message in regards to orphans in the United Arab Emirates.
Opening the Family Village charity in Dubai’s A Watqa area he was seen playing with children living without parents as the Shs156million project debuted.
Also on Tuesday he unveiled a plaque at the building which aims to provide psychological, social and economic stability for the kids staying there.
He posted on Twitter on Tuesday: “Today I inaugurated the 'Family Village' in Dubai which cares for orphans. In the UAE, orphans are not alone.
“The Family Village's model emphasizes a familial atmosphere, providing children with the warmth of a mother & siblings.”
The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai,Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum were also in attendance.
Plus the chairman and some of the Board of Directors of the Family Village, as well as government officials were on hand for the launch.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed toured the kindergarten building, looking at the quality of entertainment and health facilities, additionally, he watch a documentary about the living conditions of some orphans.
He continued on the micro-blogging website: “When I met the orphans today, I was happy to find Emirati women who had volunteered to spend time with the children.”
