There’s a new restaurant in the city and this one’s for seafood lovers.

Crab Tavern Dubai open July 7 and they’ve got great offers to tempt diners in for the first time.

The fresh concept has only just opened up in London’s Broadgate Circle too and is described as having ‘New York style sandwiches and salads with seafood favourites including an array of hero crab dishes and a selection of more refined classics from the grill’.

Dishes on offer at the Media One Hotel location include Squid ink and clam linguini, Hawaiian seatrout and shrimp fishcakes, Monkfish, mullet and mussels bouillabaisse, and it’s not just seafood being served.

If you’re not a fan of fish there are also delights such as Steak Tartar, Buttermilk fried chicken and waffle plus Pecan, chilli and maple tart for desert.

The Level 9 spot is expected to be a favourite with tourists, expats and locals thanks to its familiar atmosphere.

Diner-style booths, high top counter placements and a bar will add to its downtown vibe, and the décor inlcudes exposed brick walls, ‘lighting accents and warm wooden features’.

Get your food at the American-inspired eatery for half price, from the launch date until the end of the month – including during Eid.

In the lead-up to the opening, potential customers can enter their social media competition @CrabTavernDubai.

On July 4 – which is American Independence Day – anyone that uses the hashtags ‘#CrabTavernDubai’ and ‘#4thJuly’ will be entered into a draw to be in with a chance of winning a cool prize which is as yet, unnamed.

Plus if you happen to be wondering by the venue in the following two days, they will be advertising another social media competition for 100 people to take advantage of discounts.
