Dubai Family Health Festival a success

10,000 receive free medical checks in a month-long drive to improve the nation’s general health…

A drive, to ensure that more people in Dubai look after their health, has been hailed a success. Free kiosks were opened up across the emirate for a month, to educate the public about their health through games and counseling. Visitors were also invited to take away a variety of leaflets to help them understand their health better.

"The tremendous response received by Family Health Festival is indeed very encouraging.” Said Dr. Prem Jagyasi, MD and CEO of ExHealth, who helped organize the push. He added: “The enthusiastic participation in every activity has definitely contributed to creating enhanced health awareness amongst the residents. We can safely assume that collective societal purpose has been aptly served."
