Martin Solveig will appear top of the bill when Sensation hits Dubai this year.
The international festival will come to the city on October 30 and the extravaganza will be held at Meydan Racecourse.
Another big name helping the ‘Hello’ hitmaker entertainin the 15,000-strong crowd will be 36-year-old Sander van Doorn.
Earlier this year Martin performed at Pacha Ibiza Dubai and spoke to Time Out about how he adapts his set according to venues.
‘The larger part of my set will be my music and that never changes. That is the definition of who I am music-wise,’ he told us. ‘I enjoy playing different styles of music. I don’t necessarily play the same kinds of side tracks when I’m in the US or Europe, so I guess I’ll mix it up in Dubai, too.’
Speaking in June, he added about what he has left to achieve in his career.
‘That’s not really something you can quantify. My ultimate goal doesn’t have anything to do with numbers,’ he admitted. ‘It’s more about having the chance to keep doing what I love, which is making music for as long as possible.’
Tickets went on sale in May for the brand which has events across the globe in places such as Great Britain, United States, Thailand, Turkey, South Africa and Italy. Another names on the line-up include Quintino, Yves V, plus East & Yong.
After 15 years on the electronic music scene, this isn’t the first time Sensation has been to the city.
Last year saw their first ever outdoor edition of the festival, where fans from over 50 countries flew in to celebrate with UAE expats and locals on Halloween night.
Sensation ‘Source of Light’ saw a line-up of international DJs including Martin Garrix, Mr White, Hard Rock Sofa, An21 and Max Vangeli, and Roger Sanchez.
Performers and pyrotechnics a-plenty, this time around is sure to be even better than the last.
