Kind Dubai tourist takes taxi driver to Ferrari World

The internet is buzzing about a man who paid for his Dubai taxi driver to join him at Ferrari World

If you’ve ever been to Ferrari World, you’ll know the Abu Dhabi attraction – which opened in 2010 – is a fun day out.

So it’s no wonder the internet is going mad at the moment for a Dubai tourist who took a resident here out there recently ‘just for the laugh’.

Liam Murphy, who was in the United Arab Emirates for a business trip, heard that his taxi driver has never been and paid the Dhs250 entry fee for him as opposed to meeting him outside four hours later.

Murphy’s posts on Facebook went viral as he told friends of his cool day in the theme park with his new pal, who’d managed to stay out of the park for the 14 years he’d been in the UAE.

The gentleman from Cork, Ireland captioned a shot on his social networking page: 'Got a taxi from Dubai to Abu Dhabi today. Indian taxi driver living here 14 yrs yet was never in Ferrari World.

'He was going to wait in the car for 4 hrs. Today I made his dreams come true for the laugh...."I will pray God for you sir".’

Those who go along can enjoy the first electronic indoor go-kart track, get behind the wheel of the 80km/h karts and break the lap record set by Scudeira Ferrari.

Ferrari World also has a new series of cinematic entertainment at the theme park alongside the high octane rides, such as the Formula Rossa, the fastest roller coaster in the world.

He added: ‘His first ever roller coaster ride was on the fastest in the world. "I do not feel well sir". Shakiha will sleep well tonight.'

Perhaps the pair also saw Mission Ferrari and Viva Ferrari, the two new live shows on view four times daily at the park, opened last October.

Victoria Lynn, park manager at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi says: ‘Our world-class shows are part of the park’s key entertainment offerings. We are always looking to introduce fresh, innovative talents and performances to provide an even greater Ferrari experience.’
