**NOTE: In observance of the national mourning period, Plan b and ‘The b Theatre’ have announced the rescheduling of their play ‘Jis Lahore Nahin Dekhya’. The organizers will announce the new dates after the mourning period and all sold tickets will remain valid for the new dates.

A powerful play about one of history's most important events in India and Pakistan will debut in Dubai this month.

Jis Lahore Nahin Dekhya (The One Who Hasn't Seen Lahore), an award-winning stage show by Asghar Wajahat, tells of the human cost of the Indo-Pak partition of 1947.

Following a Hindu woman who loses her son and family in riots following the huge change in the political landscape, it focuses on the fight for her home that has been granted to a Muslim refugee family from Lucknow.

'The play's theme, nostalgic charm and talented actors combined will definitely resonate brotherhood and peace with audiences across Dubai,' producers say. It has previously been well received by American and European audiences.

The performance will be the first for The b Theatre.
