British fashion designer Victoria Beckham is reportedly set to open a retail store in Dubai during the next 12 months, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.

The singer-turned-fashion designer is already listed in Dubai’s Boutique 1, where her eyewear and handbag collections are sold.

Beckham first started her fashion career in 2006 with the launch of her label dvb. Two years later, she launched a lower-priced parallel, Victoria by Victoria Beckham.

Apart from Dubai, the designer has plans to open stores in Hong Kong, Miami, LA, and New York.

According to the Daily Mail, she is also in talks to launch a shoe line.

The 41-year-old's husband, famed footballer David Beckham, is set to visit the city on September 29 for the opening of the new Adidas store in Mall of the Emirates.

A representative for Beckham has been contacted for comment.
