Knowledge story, The Knowledge

Dubai was off to a slow start this morning as thick clouds blanketed the city.

Social media in the region was filled with images residents had taken from their homes and on the journey to work, showing just how eerie the place looks when humidity hits.

Although it made for some rather stunning snaps, it meant that many flights were delayed this morning.

Around 60 aircrafts got caught up in sky traffic in the early hours as visibility was drastically reduced.

So if you were expecting visitors from Dubai International Airport this morning, it’s likely they are behind schedule.

They’re not the only ones who have been set back thought. Even those travelling on the road have experienced frustration circumstances.

Dubai Police issued some safety tips for those out driving and those out and about for their exercise routine had to be extra careful too. @bazking8 tweeted: “Eventful run this morning almost got run over 3 times in 10km. Some lovely drivers in Mirdif #Dubai #UAE #runchat.”
