The Dubai-based businesswoman – who was born in the United States – found fame in the city as a blogger. Now the makeup enthusiast is to appear as a panelist at Fashion Forward Dubai, October 22-25 at d3.
Huda Kattan is loved for her video tutorials on the social networking site that show ladies how to experiment with their hairstyles, henna and of course Kim Kardashian-style contouring.
Her false lashes are one of the top five brands sold in Sephora Middle East and this month the product was introduced in US stores.
Huda will be sharing her story on how she built her brand alongside sister and business partner Mona. Ritu Upadhyay will moderate the chat at 3pm on Day 1.
Also lined up for the S/S ’16 event is Karen Buglisi Weiler, Global Brand President of M·A·C Cosmetics, Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist fashion blog and Imran Amed, Founder and CEO of The Business of Fashion.
Entertaining attendees are 33 catwalk shows, the ‘d3 Fashion Talks’ discussion on issues facing the region’s fashion industry, and a dedicated day for buyers and media hosted on site at Dubai Design District (d3).
