French Photographer Nicolas Mingasson captures men and women who find themselves in extreme situations in countries including Bosnia, Afghanistan and Tibet. In addition, from January to September 2008, Mingasson worked on a series of portraits of emblematic characters from beyond the Arctic Circle, sharing stories of these northernmost populations’ lives.
