Public holiday

Sunday March 8 has been declared a public holiday across the UAE to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

According to a circular issued by Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, Minister of Health, the public sector will get a one-day holiday on March 8 to celebrate Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) birthday. All federal ministries, public departments and institutions will enjoy a long weekend.
