Bahrain celebrates F1

Time Out partied with Bahrain last night after Jenson Button's F1 win

Maybe he had the better car, or maybe he has taken his rightful place as one of the best drivers in the world, but Brit racer Jenson Button certainly brought some excitement to Bahrain this weekend.

The Formula One poster boy and Brawn big shot raced to victory leaving countryman Lewis Hamilton in his dust before taking the podium as the British national anthem blared out across the formidable Gulf Air circuit and an adrenaline-fuelled crowd looked on.

But this wasn't then end of Formula One season for Bahrain, far from it. Click here to check out our photos to see what happened across town once the finish flag went down.
