First dance radio station is launched in Dubai

Time Out has details as the first dance radio station is launched in Dubai, called DANCE 97.8 FM and featuring live sets by David Guetta and Roger Sanchez

If you’re the kind of radio listener who tunes in for music rather than for talk, you’ll be relieved to hear that there’s a new station coming to Dubai that will devoted exclusively to dance music.

Appropriately named DANCE 97.8 FM, it hit the airwaves on Sunday October 23 and will be the first of its kind in the region.

So what kind of tunes can we look forward to? Well, non-stop dance music across all genres and live music transmissions during evening and weekend shows happening in Dubai.

Listeners will also be able to listen live DJ sets from the DANCE 97.8 FM studio nightly from 8pm.

These include Solomon, Mark Night, Steve Lawler, Paul Van Dyk, David Guetta, Roger Sanchez, Magdalena, Teenage Mutants, Stefano Noferini, John Monkman.
