Free Eid al-Adha parking in Dubai next week

Public parking will be free across the city next week

Eid al-Adha

The Eid holidays are coming, and across the week parking will be free across Dubai.

All public car parks except multi-levels will be free from Sunday August 19 until Friday August 24, with the parking tariff being reactivated on Saturday August 25.

That means you can make the most of the Eid al-Adha holidays to get out and explore the city, making the most of the summer offers across Dubai.

Public transport will also be affected during the holidays with the Dubai Metro Red Line operating from Monday August 20 to Thursday August 23 from 5am until 2am.

On Friday August 24 the Red Line will run from 10am to 2am and on Saturday August 25 it will run from 5am until 2am.

The Green Line will run from Monday August 20 until Thursday August 23 from 5.30am until 2am and Friday August 24 from 10am until 2am. Saturday August 25 will see metros operate from 5.30am until 2am.

The Dubai Tram will operate from Saturday to Thursday from 6am until 1am and on Friday from 9am until 1am.

Bus and water bus schedules will also vary, and you can check schedules at the RTA website.

If you’d like to celebrate the free parking (and the holiday), there are any number of firework displays across the city that you can head to.
