Puppy Pilates classes launching in Dubai

Stretch and strengthen with this workout for you and your pup

This could just be the cutest workout trend you’ve ever seen.

Puppy Pilates classes are launching in the city, for a total body workout for you and your pooch.

The classes kick off on Saturday September 8 at Dogwalk in Al Quoz and continue at various locations across weekends until Saturday December 8.

Sessions are run by The Animal Agency, a UAE animal modelling agency, and Phoenix Rising yoga and pilates group, for what they describe as a “fun, social and bonding experience for you and your pup”. Cute.

The dynamic, rolling, stretching and often playful nature of the exercises are perfect for sprightly pups and there’s also plenty of strengthening involved for you.

Instructor Kirsty MacPherson-Wright will put you and your puppy through your paces, but spaces are limited so pre-booking is essential.

The classes are only suitable for adults over the age of 18 and dogs must be small to medium in size – because no one wants to hold up a Great Dane.

Owners must also present a copy of the dog’s vaccination book ahead of the event.
