Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce has confirmed that there will be a dry night across Dubai from 5pm on Monday November 19 until 6pm on Tuesday November 20.

During this period, hotels and restaurants across the city will only serve soft drinks.

Dubai’s dry day occurs one day after the public and private sector holiday announced for Sunday November 18, which grants workers across the UAE a three-day weekend.

The city’s next public holiday occurs shortly afterwards, with UAE National Day taking place on Sunday December 2, creating another three-day weekend in Dubai.
