UAE average salaries in 2019 revealed

Average salary figures in different sectors in the UAE for 2019 have been revealed in a new study.

Recruitment firm Michael Page conducted the research of more than 100,000 candidates in their database, studying the salaries of more than 2,000 jobs in 2018.

The Middle East Salary Survey 2019 details the numbers of jobs from sectors including legal, retail, sales and marketing and many more – including what jobs are high in demand.

According to the report, jobs in data science and analytics, governance and compliance as well as cost management are most sought after, while the role of the public sector still plays “a huge part in regional growth”.

The survey also revealed that candidates now want more details about career development plans and organisational culture, stating that "flexibility has the same currency as salary for many candidates and the cost to organisations is negligible".
