Camping doesn't always have to involve spending hours trying to pitch a tent and squeezing into an uncomfortable sleeping bag.

At the Longbeach Campground in Ras Al Khaimah, guests are treated to deluxe tents with king-size beds, cosy décor and sea views – with soft cushions and outdoor furniture adding to the experience.

The beachfront site also has panoramic bubble tents – which offer spectacular vistas of the night sky – and each comes with a private hot tub and bathroom.

Or if you really want to up the home comforts, check in to a safari suite tent which has its own private terrace and indoor bathroom.

And there are no worries about getting bored here. The camp ground offers loads of activities including a bonfire, moonlight cinema, sunrise yoga and even an outdoor spa.

Sports fans can take part in beach volleyball, kite-flying, kayak racing or check out the floating aqua park.

If you prefer to relax, there's even a swim-up bar with a wide selection of house beverages and an outdoor dining area lined with twinkling fairy lights.

Every night the camp's chefs cook up a BBQ dinner with live cooking stations, and there's a breakfast buffet every morning too.

Don't want to leave your tent? That's no problem either, because there's even 24-hour room service on offer.

This place pretty much has everything to make it the perfect winter camping spot during the cooler months.

It's available to book every Thursday and Friday until the end of April, so you'll need to be quick if you want to secure a spot.

The average rate for a deluxe tent is Dhs700 per night, while a family tent costs Dhs800 per night.

Safari suite tents are a bit more expensive at Dhs1399, with a stay in one of the bubble tents priced at Dhs1999 per night.

The campground is also throwing in unlimited house beverages from 7pm to 10pm each night.
