Brand-new SensAsia spa offers half-price treatments

Have a muscle knot that needs loosening but low on dirhams? This spa has you covered, and it’s at a brand-new spot in Media City.

The first-ever The Spa by SensAsia will officially open its doors on Sunday (March 24), and with it comes discounts of up to 50 percent on massages and treatments. Brilliant news to our aching backs.

Until Thursday April 4, guests can head to the five-star Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City to get a list of treatments with 30 percent to 50 percent off

Treatments include a glyco glow facial priced at Dhs255 or “The Luxe” for Dhs565, a total body treatment that includes pink crystals and argan shell combined with coconut and pink clay from the Sahara desert to gently exfoliate the skin.

Meanwhile “The Revival” for Dhs570 is an alternative to the popular hammam that starts off with skin exfoliation and then covers the guest’s skin with a warmed ghassoul clay cocoon, blended with orange blossom floral water.

There’s also a “Knead It” massage, a “Seriously Pampering Argan Butter Stone Massage” for Dhs390.

Guests will also get to use the gym, sauna, steam room and pool as part of The Spa’s facilities.

That’s not all, as The Spa by SensAsia will also have a "tasting bar", where expert therapists will customise guest’s treatment by selecting oriental-inspired oils and argan butters, including orange blossom, vanilla and amber.

The Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City also comes with a brand-new restaurant from top chefs Nick & Scott – Verve Bar & Brasserie, which is due to open soon.

If you’re after a staycation all about relaxation and getting your fill on good drub, this stay-cation offer in Ras Al Khaimah is right up your alley.

Get ready for some affordable pampering.
50 percent discount. Sun Mar 24-Thu Apr 4. Dubai Media City, Sheikh Zayed Road, (04 525 7777).
