Dubai’s getting a new Dhs8.6million cycle and jogging track

The big city announcements just keep rolling in as Nakheel reveals plans to roll out a Dhs8.6million cycling and jogging track.

The master developer is set to build the 5km route in the new Nad Al Sheba community next year.

There will also be outdoor gyms inside the 1,500 villa community, as the bike and running tracks loop around the perimeter.

It is the latest in a series of mega-projects announced for Dubai.

Last month we told you about plans to build a 380 metre garden skybridge, a new floating island beachfront complex, as well as new cycle lanes green spaces and an initiative between RTA and Careem to provide bikes that the public can hire to cruise along the new tracks.

This new cycle track is set to be delivered in early 2020 at the new neighbourhood.

It is located just off Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and is made up of four- and five-bedroom homes.
