Make your own natural deodorant at this Dubai workshop

Bid goodbye to foul odours with the class at Alserkal Avenue

Make your own natural deodorant at this Dubai workshop

Remember the DIY perfume you’d make from petals? Well this is a bit like that, except a bit more advanced.

A new workshop from Glitches & Stitches is showing us how to make our own deodorant, without any toxins (aluminium components, parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate and the like, yuk) and using all-natural ingredients.

The workshop will take place on Monday July 29 from 6.30pm until 7.30pm at Kave in Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz, and we can’t wait to shed the stench of June –induced sweat.

There’s a load of benefits in making your cosmetics – not only is it cheaper (once you know what you’re doing), you can also tweak the recipe to suit your preferences and reduce waste.

The workshop costs Dhs75 for an hour, during which you’ll be able to whip up your personal anti-perspirant.

We can’t wait to douse ourselves dry.
Dhs75. Mon Jul 29, 6.30pm-7.30pm. Kave, Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz, www.glitchesandstitches.com.
