Dubai Metro to relocate cabins for women and children

The Dubai Metro is set to relocate the Women and Children cabins over the next two months with the relocation process set to be completed by the end of August.

The cabins, which are marked by pink lines, will be relocated from the current location near the Gold Cabin to the other end of the train.

The purpose behind the move is to provide extra privacy and comfort to metro riders. The Women and Children cabins have proven to be extremely popular, especially during the summer months, and the transition will take part in a three-phase campaign.

Phase one aims to create awareness among metro riders through social media and directional signage. Phase two will see posters being placed on the floors and platform screen doors to lead women and children to the new location of their dedicated cabin, while phase three will focus on the completion of the relocation.
