If, like us, your weekly screen time notifications are forever on the rise, then the following news might not help the amount of time you spend staring at your phone.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has announced that it will soon be launching a WhatsApp service so you can keep in touch with them easily and quickly.
How and where do you pay your fines? Soon you will be able to access all the information you need at any time through the new service on WhatsApp. pic.twitter.com/Wp09RnP1fV

In a post released by the RTA, you’ll be able to pay your fines and find out more information through WhatsApp, with the authority responding to users directly. You’ll be able to converse with them through 058 800 9090, which will offer up 24/7 service so any information you need will come quickly and when you need it most.
All you need to do is enter your registration number or license number, and you’ll get everything you need.
The RTA also recently announced that as much as 70 percent of lost items in Dubai Taxis are being returned, so if you lost your, for example, bar of gold, you’re more than likely to get it back.
The authority also announced that it has signed an agreement for suspended, driverless “sky trains”, which will hopefully be coming to Dubai soon.
