DEWA now has a virtual employee to help customers

When you have a questions or a problem with your electricity or water, never fear, Rammas is here to help you out, as he’s available 24 hours a day. How? Because he’s a new virtual employee at the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

DEWA has set up verified WhatsApp business account to help it communicate with customers, with artificial intelligence Rammas ready to help customers. The new number is 04 601 9999.

“This is done by making use of AI tools,” said managing director and CEO of DEWA Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer.

“We always seek to enrich our customers’ experience with smart services that are based on advanced systems to provide a unique government experience that contributes to their happiness.”

Executive vice president of innovation and the future at DEWA Marwan bin Haidar added that conversations between DEWA and customers are encrypted to ensure security, but to look for the green badge to make sure the account is verified.

RTA has also recently announced an interactive WhatsApp service so you can keep in touch with the team there easily and quickly.

What else does the future have in store? The world’s first ropeless elevators, which will be revealed at Expo 2020. However, here’s a sneak peek at what it can do.
