Travel from Dubai to Abu Dhabi by seaplane for less this summer

This is a daycation with a difference. This summer Seawings Seaplane Tours is offering a special deal, where you can see the sights of both Dubai and Abu Dhabi with 20 percent off.

If you’ve always fancied hopping on a seaplane, now is the time – as you’ll get a bird’s eye view of both cities, at a reduced rate as a special summer offer.

The plane ride takes off from Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and travels to Yas Marina in the capital. The experience takes 45 minutes and you’ll take in views of the Palm, Burj Khalifa and The World off the coast of Jumeirah in Dubai.

Once you get to the capital you’ll fly over Yas Marina before landing on the water there. And that’s not all, you’ll get a free pass to Ferrari World, as well as a free transfer to the world-famous theme park.

The theme park boasts more than 20 rides and activities, but the one you will want to strap yourself in to is the record-smashing Formula Rossa. It’s not for the faint-hearted, however.

Brace yourself for blast off as you scale heart-pumping heights of 52 metres while reaching speeds of 240km per hour. Once you’ve had your fill of G-force thrills, there is plenty of other ground to cover at the Yas Island park.

You’ll return to Dubai by road and summer prices start at Dhs1,424 for the trip.

If you have a head for heights this is one trip you don’t want to miss.

From Dhs1,424. Until Aug 31. Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Deira, www.seawings.ae.
