RTA announces free parking in Dubai for Eid al-Adha

Wherever you’re driving to in Dubai to check out all the celebrations and events for Eid al-Adha, don’t expect to whip out your wallet when getting out of your car.

The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially announced that motorists throughout the city won’t have to pay for parking throughout Eid this weekend, so head out without a worry.

Except for multi-level parking terminals, all paid parking zones will be free to use from Saturday August 10 until Tuesday August 13. Fees will go back to normal for all drivers on Wednesday August 14.

And there's loads going on across the city? For a massive show visit Dubai Festival City to watch the spectacular Eid firework display on Sunday August 11 and Monday August 12.

Meanwhile malls across Dubai, including The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Deira, are extending their opening hours for Eid as well, and Reel Cinemas is also open for 24 hours a day during Eid at its branch in The Dubai Mall.
