Dubai Metro times announced for Eid al-Adha

Travelling around the city to all the different Eid al-Adha events? If you’re using public transport, make sure you note down these time changes.

RTA has announced a change in public transport service times throughout Eid, including public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram and marine transport.

From Saturday August 10 until Tuesday August 1, the Red Line on the Dubai Metro will be operating from 5am until 2am, with Green Line stations offering services from 5.30am to 2am.

As for public buses, main bus stations, including Gold Souk, will operate from 4.25am to 12.59am, while sub-stations (including Satwa) will start from 5am until 11pm.

The Dubai Tram will be operating from Saturday to Thursday over Eid from 6am to 1am, while on Friday, it will be from 9am to 1am.

Dubai’s Water Bus will operate at Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Promenade, from noon until midnight.

The newly opened Ferry line between Dubai and Sharjah also has a time change, with the service running from 2pm until 7pm from the Sharjah Aquarium, and from 3pm to 8pm from Dubai’s Ghubaiba Station.

Own a car? You won’t need to worry about paying for parking, as all paid-parking zones are completely free to use over Eid.
